Minimal is a space for real connections, not performance. These guidelines exist to keep it that way. By using Minimal, you agree to follow them alongside our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
1. Be Respectful
Treat people the way you'd want to be treated. Be kind, honest, and respectful of boundaries. If someone isn't interested, move on gracefully.
Don't harass, threaten, bully, insult, shame, or pressure anyone. Hate speech and discrimination of any kind are not tolerated.
2. Be Yourself
Use your own photos, share accurate information, and upload real screenshots from your own accounts for the Vibe feature. No fake profiles, no impersonation, no AI-generated photos, no catfishing, no multiple accounts.
3. No Explicit Content
Minimal is not for sexual or explicit content. Don't share nudes, send explicit messages, request sexual content, or promote adult services. This applies to profile photos, messages, and Vibe screenshots.
4. No Scams or Spam
Minimal is for personal connections only. Don't ask for money, promote products or services, send suspicious links, run marketing campaigns, or attempt fraud of any kind.
5. Keep It Legal
Don't use Minimal to break laws, exploit others, share illegal content, encourage violence or self-harm, facilitate drug trafficking, or promote terrorism or extremism. Users under 18 are strictly prohibited.
6. Protect Privacy
Keep conversations private. Don't share other people's personal information, screenshot or repost chats without consent, or collect data from other users. When uploading Vibe screenshots, make sure they don't expose other people's identifiable information.
7. Vibe Screenshots
When uploading screenshots for your Vibe profile:
- Only upload from your own accounts and feeds
- No explicit, violent, or illegal content
- No screenshots containing personal info (passwords, banking, addresses)
- No fabricated or manipulated screenshots
Screenshots are processed by AI and deleted immediately. Only the derived personality data stays on your profile.
8. Real-World Safety
If you meet someone in person: meet in public, tell a friend, trust your instincts, and leave if anything feels off. Never share financial details or identity documents. Minimal does not verify user identities or run background checks.
9. Reporting & Moderation
If someone makes you uncomfortable or violates these guidelines, report them using the in-app feature or block them. You can also email us at hello@getminimal.app.
We use a mix of AI moderation and human review. We may warn, suspend, or permanently ban users. Content may be removed without notice. If you think we got it wrong, contact us to appeal.
10. Zero Tolerance
The following result in immediate permanent removal and may be reported to law enforcement:
- Harassment, stalking, or threats of violence
- Hate speech or incitement to hatred
- Sexual exploitation or abuse
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or grooming
- Minors on the platform
- Non-consensual intimate images
- Scams, extortion, or human trafficking
We report CSAM to the relevant authorities including the IWF, NCMEC, and local law enforcement.
11. Your Responsibility
You are responsible for your behaviour, your content, and your interactions. Minimal is a platform for connection — not a guarantee of relationships or safety.
12. Updates
We may update these guidelines as the app evolves. Material changes will be communicated through the app. Continued use means you accept the updates.
